BONIDE Sulfur Plant Fungicide

Bonide Sulfur Fungicide  prevents fungal spores from germinating, so it is most effective before the disease develops. Repeat treatment at weekly intervals to maintain control. Bonide Sulfur Fungicide is a micronized dust that can be applied dry or mixed with water for a wet application.

  • When spraying, use a good pressure sprayer and apply thoroughly to all leaf surfaces.
  • When dusting ( Dustin Mizer ), apply in a uniform thin film of dust to all leaf surfaces and fruit.

 

Bonide Sulfur Fungicide is specially formulated for safe use on berries, including gooseberry and raspberry as well as cherries, grapes, citrus, apples, cucurbits, apricots, and currants.

Do not use under the following conditions:

  • When an Oil Spray has been applied within the past 2 weeks.
  • When temperatures are expected to exceed 80°F.

Use & Instructions

Sulfur Plant Fungicide covers approximately 500 sq. ft at the general mix and application rate.

Suggested Use Application Rate To Control
Animals (Except CA) Dust animal liberally and rub into hair. Fleas and ticks on dogs.
Apples 1-2.5 rounded tbs./gallon of water. Apply from pre-pink through cover or use in cover sprays up to the day of harvest. Make sure the varieties being grown will not be damaged by sulfur treatments. Apple Cedar Rust, Black Rot, Brown Rot, Frog Eye, Leaf Spot, Powdery Mildew, Quince Rust, Scab, Sooty Blotch
Beans 1.5-3 level Tbs./gallon of water beginning when first true leaves form or at first signs of disease. Repeat at 7-10 day intervals until harvest or disease symptoms subside. Leaf Spot, Powdery Mildew, Rust, Red Spider
Blackberries, Blueberries, Boysenberries, Dewberries, Huckleberries, Loganberries, Raspberries 2-2.5 rounded Tbs./gallon of water beginning when shoots are 6 inches long and before blossoms open. Repeat at 10 day intervals or necessary up until day of harvest. Powdery Mildew

Poultry (Except CA) Dust liberally onto birds and rub into feathers. To treat quarters, mix 1-1.5 lbs./5 gallons of water and apply as a spray to 100 square feet. Apply thoroughly to all interior surfaces of poultry quarters. Force spray into cracks and crevices, repeating applications as needed.
